SEND

Our Special Needs and Disabilities Coordinator (SENDCo) is Mrs Anna Dean.

Roman Way Academy is an inclusive school. The school makes every effort to adapt learning to suit the needs of different learners and to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that all children can make good progress.

If you have questions or comments about your child's needs, please speak to your child's class teacher in the first instance. If needed, we can then arrange a meeting between parents/carers and the SENDCo.

Please visit Hertfordshire's Local Offer website for more information about local SEND support. The Local Offer lets parents and young people know what special educational needs and disabilities services are available in Hertfordshire, and who can access them. It has information about SEND resources, courses and events. You can also find out about short breaks available for disabled children and young people.

Our SEND Policy, Medical Needs Policy, SEND Information Report and Accessibility plan can be found on our Policies page.

The SEND Information Report can also be viewed with audio commentary by following this video link.
