Yr2 children have been building a micro-habitat (bug hotel) in the RWA woodland area. We have been learning about living things in their habitats and we looked at different habitats and the animals and plants that live in them. Then we designed our bug hotel and in the following lesson we build them using a variety of recycling materials and natural materials giving the living things the conditions they need to survive and thrive.
