This week we continued our learning about travel across the seven seas. In drawing club, we used a Captain Pugwash animation as inspiration for our writing. In science, we experimented with objects that float or sink. The children made their predictions and then watched as the object was placed in water, and observed if their predictions were correct.

In PSHE, we continued to look at how we grow and how a healthy diet is important to help us grow and stay strong. We sorted pictures of food into those that are healthy and those we should eat less frequently. We then did some fruit tasting, sampling yellow watermelon, flat peaches, pineapple as well as banana chips and dried cranberries. The cranberries and peach came out as clear winners in our sampling!
